You will be asked to document your child's developmental history and complete a questionnaire about their behaviors. These will be used by your psychologist during the diagnostic process.
A psychologist will meet with you virtually to review your child's developmental history and determine whether a formal evaluation is appropriate, or if other recommendations should be considered first.
If testing is recommended, an assessment session—typically lasting about 1.5 hours—will be scheduled with your child. In some cases, a separate appointment may be arranged for parents or caregivers.
Once the evaluation is complete, the psychologist will analyze the results using a research-based approach and prepare a detailed report outlining findings and suggested next steps.
You'll then meet with the Licensed Psychologist again virtually to review the results and talk through recommended services or interventions. This is also a great time to ask any questions you may have about the findings or future support.
