The M-CHAT™ (Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers) is a parent-report screening tool to assess risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); it does not determine whether your child has Autism. The assessment is 20 questions and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Please answer all questions to the best of your ability. Once complete, your results will be emailed to you. Should your child meet the criteria for an assessment, you will be directed to the Diagnostics Intake Form which will allow you to provide- your contact information so that our team can reach out and begin the scheduling process.
The primary goal of the M-CHAT is to detect as many indicators of ASD as possible. Therefore, there is a high false positive rate, meaning that not all children who score at risk will be diagnosed with ASD.
