A typical day at work involves a lot of playing with kids, handling challenging behaviors, writing session notes, and being supported by a great team. I've learned a lot about the field of behavior analysis from my supervisors. I've also learned perseverance and patience from working with clients on different skills and goals. Management plays a significant role in the positive workplace environment. The clinical director, AOM, and all supervisors (BCBAs) I've worked with are supportive and encouraging, which makes the hard days much easier.
Mosaic is a great place to work because they care about their employees and constantly seek to improve by sending out feedback surveys and actually implementing change.
Management was always there for you. I always felt supported. It was fun and allowed you to be creative.
Overall best company to work for no matter what location you work at. From management to coworkers the environment makes you want to come to work. I took time off to have a baby and the company welcomed me back with open arms and provided the flexibility I needed to attend school and care for my little one.
